A Little Reading in the Bath
This weekend, we had our school homecoming dance. Overall, I did not enjoy that dance one bit, however, it did provide me the perfect opportunity for a shoot. I had been wanting to do something similar to this for a while so the dance gave me the perfect excuse to dress up.
After I got home I filled the tub with warm water and started to prepare. First, I got my camera and tripod and set that up. I also set up my light wand on a tripod since the camera I have is cropped. Then I got a wine glass and filled it with cranberry juice. I am underage I did not drink alcohol. I got my reading glasses, a book, and also smeared eye makeup on my face.
These photos were particularly challenging because I couldn’t adjust the camera after I had gotten in the bathtub. This is why there is only one camera angle for most of the photos. I had the camera set up on a timer and just sprayed and prayed. I took about 950 photos and only about 10 of them were good enough to edit.
